ART GENÈVE 2025 Booth B30
Preview Day January 29
Public Days January 30 – Februrary 2
Galerie Eva Presenhuber is delighted to participate in Art Genève 2025 with a focused presentation of new works by Ugo Rondinone.
Following Rondinone's retrospective cry me a river at the Kunstmuseum Luzern in the summer of 2024, which included large-format paintings of his native Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee), Galerie Eva Presenhuber is showing an intimate selection of smaller lake paintings. In various shades of blue, Rondinone lovingly and cheerfully captures the view of the lake and the surrounding Alps by day and by night from the shores where he grew up. The overwhelming beauty of the landscape and the power of nature are at the heart of his work, and these paintings emphasize the parallels between his art and the immediate environment that inspired it. Important references for these paintings are the iconic Swiss painters Félix Vallotton and Ferdinand Hodler.
In addition, new and significant works by Louisa Gagliardi, Karen Kilimnik, and Liesl Raff will be on display.
